Default Clock running too fast

Anyone had their stock center dash analog clock run a bit too fast on their GS350?? Each morning when I get out my clock is at least 5 minutes fast. If I let it go it will progressively increase to be more and more off the current time. Any ideas what the hell is happening here? Thanks.

You must have the back to the future clock edition in your car.

My clock keeps perfect time. Sounds like yours will need to be replaced, which I'm guessing is extremely rare. I suspect the clock has a bad timing component, e.g. crystal oscillator, IC, capacitor, resistor...

Mine loses about 1 minute per month. I just hit the minute button one time and it's fixed. No big deal.

Many of the better analogue clocks have a +/- setting for accuracy.
Don't know if ours has this feature, but it likely still means a trip to the shop

Just noticed mine did that today. It must have started yesterday because it has always kept time correctly. I put the time back to the exact time so hopefully it just needed that, or else i have to take it to dealer

Update!!!

Took it to the dealer today and they said that Lexus will be creating a TSIB on it. A few people have complained out that GS clock. You should go up there and ask. I left mine at the dealer.

If not a technical issue, suspect the wife or kids. I remember when I was young I used to change the tint and color settings on the TV to drive my father nuts. And he was color blind. This is when the adjustments were accessed on the back of the TV. So the wife or kids could be changing the time.

It started happening a few weeks ago in ES 250 2014. I will raise it up with the dealer at the next service.

I took my car for service on Thursday and mentioned the fast running clock. At the time of collection the clock was again and hour ahead. I called the service manager, who then called a technician and they insisted that its the clock GMT setting. The tech fiddled with the settings menu and then advised me to observe.
As I suspected the in dash clock is independent of the info screen settings. The clock continued to run fast. So I took it back to the service center, and they initiated a warranty claim for which they need an approval.
Let us see how many days it take to get this clock sorted.

Default 30 minutes ahead each morning

My clock is usually about 30 minutes ahead each morning after I park it when I get home from work each night. I'm due for an oil change so I'm going to bring it up when I drop it off soon. I'll keep you updated.

Don't know if the Lexus clocks will respond to this advice but...
I had an Analog Clock Radio that actually had an instruction
sheet. It prescribed advancing the clock 23 hour 59 minutes
to correct a slow running clock and rolling back that amount to
adjust a fast runner. Couldn't hurt to try, right?

Default Please help!!! 2014 GS 350 clock running too fast!!

My 2014 GS 350 analog clock is running way too fast. Always 30 to 40 minutes ahead everyday. Any fix on this issue? Surprised this would be an issue with a 4 year old car with a brand new battery. Sucks my warranty has just expired...Please help. Thanks guys.

Watch collectors say that you can adjust a watch by lying it on its side while you sleep. Maybe you can try that.

How is he supposed to take out the clock and let it sleep on its side?! Is that even a correct response?
