Default Options for Splash Guards

It doesn't appear Lexus has OEM mud guards yet. I also checked Weathertech and they don't have ones that fit. Thoughts on other options? Thanks in advance.

When the first gen 6 ES cars came out I went to the dealer to buy mud guards. The service department stated that "mud guards don't belong on a Lexus". Hmmm. OK, so I ordered them from China on Ebay. They fit perfectly, took me about 30 minutes for all 4, and remained on my car for 6 years. The new owner now has them. I will be receiving new mud guards today from Ebay and, if it's not too cold, will be installing them on the new 2019 350... The photos are from my 2013.

I saw them on eBay as well. Do you have to remove the wheels to install though? I also hate the thought of drilling holes into a brand new car

The rear quarter where the rear guards are mounted is plastic. No rust issues. I can only speak of the procedure for the gen 6 ES cars, but think probably it's the same for 2019.
I did not remove any wheels. The fronts matched perfectly to the existing screw holes so no drilling necessary. I did change the screws to stainless to avoid rust and then put a dab of black paint on the screw head so as to blend with the black mud guard. On my 2013 there was one hole required in the rear quarter. The other holes matched existing factory mounts.
As the rear quarter is plastic it took about 10 seconds to drill a small hole back there. The whole job took about 30 minutes and as I previously stated, they're still on the car and look good. Mud guards do save the paint around the wheel well. Some members who installed the mud guards had them painted body color. I like the black as a contrast. GOOD LUCK if you decide to go ahead with the project.

Good to know - I definitely want them as it surely protects those areas from lots of grime.

No, not "my car club".

They didn't get here yet so I'll let you know if they're good to go...
Edit: The mud guards just arrived and the holes match up perfectly with the factory splash guard inside the wheel well. Too cold to be messing with these right now, I'll wait for a warmer day to attack this and post some new photos...

Does this mean all you have to do is remove the existing screws, attach the guards and then re-secure them? No new drilling required?

No. The holes in the mud guards will have to be matched with the clips (they are not screws on my car) inside the wheel well. IOW no drilling the car, only the mud guards...

Did you ever get these installed? How are they working out for you?

I also found these too. They look the same. https://www.ebay.com/itm/A-Premium-4...cAAOSw0VBcd4bt

I've been looking for body colored ones. Might have to get the black ones and have them painted by the body shop that did cush a good job on my road rash scrape.
