I have the long oval side markers w Amber LEDs that I'm trying to install I have the fenders taped and measured now I gotta find the template or trace it but I would radther not trace the side marker for the cut.

I'm not understanding what you need if they are going in the stock position. If your putting it in a different position, and filling in the bumper cover. You already have a template you can take from before filling the holes.

I have a Uk 2002 with the side repeaters. Early light, but probably in the same position. Hope this helps

The problem the op has is that it is a stamped recess from the factory. So there's a lot more than just cutting a hole. It all you cut is a hole you'll see the white backing and everything. This is beyond what most people have for tools and knowledge too do right.

If this is what his trying to accomplish, then it's not really a hard job. They make aftermarket markers, that I have installed on other vehicles before. The light itself, will not be recessed like the factory, but will fit flush against the body. You'll have to drill a hole in the body, large enough to run the wiring (2 wires) & then install 2 small sheet metal screws, that hold the light in place. The measurements are the most important part, because you want to make sure they are in the same spot, on both sides of the car
