Exclamation Can I bondo this damage?? or do i need to weld a new metal to a -pillar

Hello, my car was backed up into by a tow truck with a flat bed, and it was slightly dented in but no damage to the frame, as the door closes perfectly. The insurance paid off my car completely as a total loss. I don’t want to spend much money taking it to a body shop to be repaired, since it’s all cosmetic. My question here is can I fix this dent myself with just bondo or should it be welded? , all the metal is there and it’s only been a couple weeks so there is not much rust. I was thinking pulling out the dented metal and shaping it back with bondo, what is your opinion on what should be done? Keep in mind I want to buy a new car and keep my Lexus as a daily driver. Thank You in advanced !! Here’s the link to the pics of my car: https://www.clublexus.com/g/picture/11714391

That is way beyond fixing with filler. Also, the A-pillar is part of the unibody, which makes it structural. This could be repaired, but to do it properly will not be cheap. Windshield out, new metal patch welded in. Trying to salvage the metal with that huge gash in it would be more work. That's about as close to proper as it could be done without buying an entire A pillar. To do it improperly, you might as well not even bother because it will definitely rust more, definitely leak, and definitely cause other issues down the road that will have you facing the task of repairing the area again.

Thank you for your response. I will definitely look into fixing it the proper way, around how much would you think the cost would be to repair the damage?
