Default RC 350 F Sport w/ auto spoiler

Looking for some help on installing an RCF auto spoiler onto a RC 350.

The wiring harness on the RC 350 trunk is not setup for the auto spoiler. I have the auto spoiler computer that hooks up in the trunk.

Any help into this would be appreciated since I’m already down the rabbit hole.

I assume the RC-F has a control module that sends a trigger at a given speed for the wing to raise, along with a manual switch button. The easiest route will be to download the RCF wiring diagrams from TIS, figure out which wires will actuate the wing, then wire in a switch to a 12V source. Having the wing work on a speed based trigger will be likely much more difficult.

Edit: the more I think about it, if you compare the RCF and RC350 wiring diagrams, the wing control module's wiring harness may lead to a connector that is present somewhere else in the vehicle on both models. In that case you may be able to purchase the harness cable from Lexus.

Any chance you could find out the correct harness part number via TIS? Might as well finish out the project since I have the wing computer that mounts in the trunk.

Unfortunately my TIS account is expired, and there are no part numbers listed on the diagrams (except for connectors if I am remembering right). Does the wing control module list this pin-out on it anywhere? Can you take pic of the control unit and connectors for posting here? I'll help the best I can.

No worries.

I was able to track the correct harness from a dismantler. Should be able to install it next weekend if everything goes to plan.

The wiring harness arrived last night. Should have time to install this weekend. I’ll update the thread when it’s installed.

Did that harness do the trick?

Kind of wanting to take this project on myself. Looking for a nebula gray pearl RCF trunk with the auto spoiler in it. Going to figure out which wires actuate the wing and make a custom circuit. Maybe a small arduino with some relays and an accelermeter that deploy based on speed. However, I need to source a trunk for a reasonable price.
