Default Odometer Stopped

So my odometer stopped about 100 kms ago. Anyone fixed this before? 1990 model

Mine does it, usually smack it and its back to normal

Permanent solution would be to remove entire unit open it and clean it out. Apparently some oil makes them stick.

That's if it's not dead and just stuck. Smack it and see if it starts working.

You can replace the unit with a new or working one, and adjust the mileage to match, or inspect and possibly attempt to repair yours. Sometimes, a gear fails in the unit.

Mine appears to have stopped as well. About 5K ago, I would extimate. I've had the car for 9 months, I typically do about 20K a year. I know the car was at about 180 when I purchased it, now its at 190, but I have recently noticed its no longer advancing.
I'll try tapping it. The Red 1Km digit still goes around, but the 10's and so on are not.The interesting thing is the x10 digit is stuck on 5, and not 9 as you would expect if its a gear failure. Will have a look at it on the weekend. Will take pictures.
