Default SC300 Bypass stock amp

I’ve been searching how to bypass the stock amp on a 1992 SC300 non naki stereo. I’ve read Raine’s thread on how to install a stereo, but he utilized the stock amp.
Seems I cant find a thread showing “how to” bypass the stock amp.
I would like to install a single din stereo and bypass the stock amp. And I’m not worried about the stock subwoofer as well.
My car has no CD player or CD changer.

Are you saying you're needing a wiring schematic so you can jumper the wires on the plugs in the trunk?

Yes, that would get me started in the right direction.

Or is the external amp for the sub? Are the other speakers powered by an internal amp in the head unit? If this is the case then I would just need a wire harness.

This is the stereo that I have. I’ve read in another post that the amp is internal. Is this correct?

Angry Builtin cam

May be an odd question but, has anyone thought about using front built in camera (NX300h Sport) as a dash cam, can it be done?

No. The amp for either the NAK or your stereo is in the trunk under the CD player. The second PDF I sent shows the plugs with their pins on the amp as well as the plugs on the head unit. If no CD player, as you open the trunk, the amp is on the right side against the quarter panel bolted to the floor

Thanks for the info...

Would a NAK stereo be a simple plug and play swap in my SC300?

yes. But both amps are weak, if you want any power, get an after market amp

If they are “weak” it’s fine... I listen to talk radio mostly anyways. I love how the OEM stereo looks and I would prefer to keep it like this.

So the NAK stereo has the same exact amount of plugs in the rear of the deck?
My male plugs will plug right in into a nak stereo?

Both amps have the same two plugs but the Nak amp has a third plug. Unless the wiring harness in your trunk has a third plug tied off to the side(meaning the factory installs the same wiring harness in all the trunks regardless of which stereo is being equipped) then no.
Oh, and I agree with the OEM stereo look. I know I can get better sound with an aftermarket head unit but I like the look of the factory unit. There is even a thread here where someone who agrees with our opinion on the look tried to take the guts out of a great head unit and try to install it in the case of an OEM head unit, don't think it worked though
