Default Future Lexus Vehicles 2019-2022

My dealer GM told me about the Plano meet when I saw the UX, but not as detailed as this!

Coles Notes:
650+ hp LC F
LC convertible
ES AWD
New IS coming
GS dead (implied)
LF-1 Limitless coming
New GX coming

That video was super-detailed, though I must admit I have heard/read most of the info before, if speculation and not coming from a dealership employee.

Ironically I just saw this and had said similar in another thread, albeit much less detailed. He said nothing new for me, even though I expect a new LX is coming in CY 2020. Good on him though trying to be informative, as I welcome it. And no, a NEW GX is NOT coming. New is TNGA affected GA-F, which is not happening for at least 4-5 years from now, if ever. MY 2023 is a ground-up replacement on GA-F most likely, while both the GX and RX get updated for MY 2020. RX first, followed by GX around August or so.

Still disappointed about the GS. BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Hyundai make such a car work and sell. I want Lexus to have something in that slot.

They just facelifted the RC, which he didn't even mention. Not sure how they are going to make the F version look like an LFA.

The owner of my local dealership just came back from an event where they talked about an LC-F, LC convertible, and a new GX. I haven’t had the chance to ask about any other cars that were mentioned.

i was hoping the GS would stick around because the GS is a much better car than the new ES. The interior quality on the ES just can’t compare and the overall car is not a replacement for the GS. They need something to rival the 5 Series and E Class.

Would this be a MMC for the RX next year for MY 2020 or would they shorten it's current run and plan on doing a FMC?

My estimated pricing point for LCF base would be 130K given the base price of a LC500.

I'd be worried if it's turbo'ed...Lexus has been hit/miss with their IS/RC/GS turbo applications, these things are slow.

a lot of the guy's comments were his opinions and guesses it seemed.

as someone else said a new gx isn't in the lineup, just a refresh he guesses will make it look more like the lx.

a 'more than' 600hp ttv8 lc-f, i'll believe it when i see it. and while that will make it fast i can't see it touching the lfa in handling.

he said 3 more suv's? but then he wasn't sure if that included the refreshes which would mean no new suv's

overall pretty underwhelming

The LC-F is real for sure. The owner of the dealership said it was at the event but they didn’t get to check it out or even get a good look at it. It’s coming in the next 18 months along with the convertible version.

The GX is getting a big refresh from what I heard. I will ask him more about it all when I get back to work.

NX was just facelifted, so we got a few more years before it makes a headline.

dealer meetings get info about cars coming out soon usually... since LC-F is coming next year, they got the info... same goes for ES AWD, as well as Camry/Avalon/Prius AWD that Toyota dealers got info about few months back.

It is nice to get some confirmations, and only brand new thing was that RX MMC is getting a touch screen control method (together with remote touch).

speculation is MY 2021 with 12/20 launch. So 2 years +/_. Lexus will keep this under wraps as usual.

nice that lexus will get a hot lc-f but would rather see more, sooner, on the mainstream models. And if dealers couldn't even get a good look at an lc-f at the meeting, what did they do, keep it in a huge roped off area?

it needs it!
