Default Best place to buy a new bumper front and back? (stock)

Just wondering if anyone knew of any very high quality/reasonable priced bumpers on a website! Fully restoring my 98 gs300 and this is the last step Thanks in advance.

You should be able to find lots of stuff on eBay. I can't tell you how many times I've purchased items for my GS400 and SC430 over the years. Of course, do your due diligence on the sellers but of the times I've used them I haven't had a problem. Most will offer a full refund or exchange if you need to return an item. Some of the things I've purchased for my GS400 was a driver door panel ($100), sunroof switch ($25) and glove box ($45). For my SC430 I've purchased a new navigation unit ($200) and motorized radio cover door ($200) which the dealer wanted over $1,000 to replace! Just do a search for "1998 GS300 OEM front bumper" or "1998 GS300 OEM rear bumper" and you'll get lots of results.

I was also looking a while back and saw some older posts where people have had decent results with replacement stuff on eBay, however I don’t remember anyone mentioning a specific seller or anything. I recall a few folks mentioning issues with fitment, specifically where the bumper/headlights meet.

working at a body shop, i always try to avoid buying used parts..especially bumpers

reason being,
there are always rock chips and bumper tap marks. (which will require repair and refinish)

if you are budgeting, looking into aftermarket bumpers.
if you are going with aftermarket bumpers, make sure you purchase ones that are CAPA certified.

oe bumpers new are way too much money

Painted Front bumpers are a pretty good deal. Can't beat the price unless you get some MACCO paint job then you get you get what you pay for.

Up to you but I know a pretty good paint shop locally that repaired my 2GS when I hit a deer (hood, front bumper and headlight). So I might go for the "PRIMED Front Bumper Cover Replacement for 1998-2005 Lexus GS300, GS400, GS430". That way you can be sure it matches. Either way eBay is the way to go. Lots of good stuff there.

Actually the insurance co. paid for my repair but the body shop did such a good job I would definitely take it back there (Coats Auto Body here in Raleigh, NC).

Yeah, body shops seem to do great work.

Some guy dinged the side of my car, I got his insurance information, his insurance covered the cost of the repair. It was only a small ding on the side of the bumper, and they completed repainted the rear bumper and it looks amazing, looks brand new they even put new molding in. Really worked out in my favor. Im trying to get my front bumper in the shape of the rear bumper now, the body shop wants 700$ to do the front though. Thats why im curious how much it cost you to get painted
