Default oil change price at lexus

At my local Lexus dealership getting my first oil change on my 2013 GS 350 F sport. Does 129 sound about right? I agreed already and they are doing the work but on my old IS my oil changes were about 80 bucks.

what engine was your IS?

the 3.5L in the GS take 7 or 8 quarts (i forget).. and that $130 better include a tire rotation.

Just the oil change at my dealer is about $75.. I just let them do the tire rotation with it for $109..

I pay about $69 at my local toyota dealer. Sounds like they might be hitting you with the old "logo fee"

man.. that is a lot.. does the dealer not have the price sheet online? or maybe have a 10% off coupon?

I wouldn't visit them again.. or next time take a competitor's coupon.. they should accept it.

If you are in Houston, hit up Sterling McCall Lexus on Saturdays for $10 off oil changes. Plus they have fresh made to order omelettes while you wait I paid $85 out the door on my last oil change there.

It is way too expensive for a oil change but not out of the ordinary what Dealerships charge. I would just do it yourself and stay away from the dealership as much as possible since you are out of warranty or go to the Toyota dealership or a independent. It is not that hard to change your own oil. A $20 pair of jackstands will really come in handy.

AWD FSport most certainly can use tire rotation.

I paid $85 OTD in Memphis, TN. Can't rotate tires on my F-sport.

In Memphis, this is what I have seen (did not have to pay for an oil change yet):
Lexus of Memphis: $100 (including tax and without any promotion)
Toyota dealerships: $65 (including tax)
Walmart: $45 + tax (Mobil 1 full synthetic oil)
