Quest for lightest wheels and 11s
So I am pretty determined to get my car into the 11s. I currently have header and exhaust. I will do a tune and intake, and want to reduce my rotational mass. Whaat are the lightest wheels we can fit? So far it looks like PF01s and TE37s are 18 pounds in an 18, and RPF1s are 17.5 pounds. I may pickup 2 piece rotors as well. Does anyone make carbon drive shafts for the ISF?
I hope the above with sticky tires and good conditions will yield 11 second passes consistently.

The only CF driveshaft I was able to find was from the Driveshaft Shop out of NC. pretty sure they made a one-off and if you really wanted one they might could make one for you. There’s no on-the-shelf options from them from what I could find.
Other light weight options are CCB from RB Brakes and CF wheels from ESE Carbon Company. If you got bank of course.

Yeah I don’t have that deep of pockets. I like The volks but actually feel that is silly money for wheels when RPF1s are lighter lol.

You could also look into BC Forged wheels. They are more expensive than some of the lightweight flow formed wheel options, but are very reasonably priced for a forged wheel. I'm pretty sure all of their RS series monoblock forged wheels are in in the 18 lb range for most sizes of 18" wheels. They would be very light and you can dictate your widths and offsets.

Thanks for the input. Finding the right offsets has been hard as well. I’m not like most, I refuse to roll fenders because I have seen numerous cars with rolled fenders 4-5 years later and how much rust has formed. I want to fit wide tires on wheels that actually fit, which limits of options. It helps that I am no longer lowered. A 40 - 45 offset is ideal since I run square set ups. A 38 should fit I think.

I really like the PF01’s and they're a great value. If money isnt a concern, I’d go with TWS Forged T66-F’s. They come in at 7.86kgs (17.33lbs) for a 18 x 9.5 +40 offset. But theyre also about $750.00/wheel.
