Default Ac compressor

My ac compressor kicks on about 5-10 seconds and shuts down I replaced the relay and it keeps kicking off.

I'd check your refrigerant level.

I had the system recharged last week. Maybe the compressor is just bad ?

You might want to check the system pressure, if the system is overcharged, then the AC compressor will shut off prematurely to prevent damage.

This happened with our 2004 Sienna, where I had to get the shop to remove some of the refrigerants in order to have the compressor running properly.

Could be a few issues. Refrigerant is low, is overcharged, could be a relay switch. How often do you have to recharge your a/c? If often, you have a leak somewhere. Don't use the a/c until you get it fixed, you'll burn up the compressor if it's still good.

Did an a/c shop recharge it? I'm not doubting your aptitude if you did it, but refrigerant level is critical. Too low or too high and it won't work properly.
