Clear paint residues over LCD and clock
Detail experts, I need your help. My GS 350 radio screen has a lot of clear paint residues on it. The kind you can feel with your finger and see at clear light, also the plastic display where temperature and time is displayed, please don't ask me how clear paint got there..
I need something that will remove and not damage the LCD on the way... Any ideas? Maybe a mix of 50/50 90% alcohol and water? Help is highly appreciated

I would use compounds, such as polishes the cut down the clear. I wouldnt go for aggressive solvent as that may destroy the original plastic coating. There are products like scratch X, or 3m cutting compounds, with a micro fiber apply it and see what its doing.
Alcohol and water I doubt will do any damage, you can try it.

Did you try claybarrring the stuff off?
I'd wouldn't do it to the LCD screen, but the clock yes.
Worst case scenario is to take a credit card (NOT JAGGED ONE, as new and perfect as possible) and try to SCRAPE the clear off of the clock, and to remedy the scratches, run polishing compound over it.
As for the LCD screen? The hardest thing you should use to pick off bits of clear is your fingers or an eraser sadly.... and You'll have to be stupid gentle, as anything too hard you'll damage the LCD underlying it.
