Yeah, that car is surprisingly clean and cheap. It's worth a look, but I'd have to go over that one with a fine tooth comb...

Here's my take: As always, do your due diligence before buying any car. Clean carfax for what it's worth. Carfax does indicate that the original owner lived in the same county (parish for you Louisiana folks) when Katrina came around. Judging by the amount of miles that the first owner put on the car though I'd bet he was out of the area when it happened. There was also no change in the oil change intervals or any other service noted at that time.
Looking at the dealer website indicates that they are not a fly by night operation. They specialize in used luxury cars and have a stellar Google rating. I highly suspect that if there was any rust on this car or other questionable issues that it would have ended up at some corner lot somewhere else. I'd certainly would be paying attention to the shape of the air suspension before buying this one. Might be a good deal for someone...

with any flood car , smell the ac/engine filters if they smell like mildew its a flood, have a pre buyer inspection done, have the seller take it to lexus and pay for it with your credi card over the phone if distance is an issue,blk/blk is a desired color and it does look sharp.

If it was in Katrina and is still going strong now, I wouldn't worry about it. If it has rust though, that would be an automatic deal breaker for me... too many other LS430s out there to even consider one with rust on it.

Hard to tell if that's rust on the bottom of that door but it certainly merits looking at if you are a potential buyer...
