Default Seat reclined and won't move back up

Hi guys I am an owner of a 2013 GS350 .. and I don't drive it daily ... only on the weekends we sold my
wifes car and now she's using my beater mean while , and I'm using my Lexus for work about 9 days used it for work most of time of the time the cars sitting at home in the garage we only drive it weekends mostly , and I have taken my car to work for around 9 days in a row , and I usually sit in my vehicle for a break and recline the seat as far back as it goes on the drivers side , all of a sudden on the 9th day .. my drivers seat won't come back after fully reclining the seat at the end of my break I attempted to move the seat back up but it won't recline back up , all other controls such as moving forward and lumbar are working fine .. not sure if maybe the motor is bad or fuse or gears are maybe stuck.. Since I don't drive my car often it doesn't get reclined often and reclining the seat daily for 9 work days might be why the gears are stuck and need lubrication .. I will be posting a picture of my seat with this post , my vehicle only has 66,000 miles on it also .. and I am the second owner I have kept it garaged and I am the only driver my wife has driven it a hand ful of times please help I don't want to take to Dealer service to get ripped off maybe it's an easy fix ?

Edit: Yeah pay no attention to me. I clearly cannot read.

I'm disinclined to help because you referred to your 2013 GS as a 'beater'.

Does the seat motor or gears/track make any noise whatsoever (motor noise, teeth grinding, etc.) when you attempt to move the seat forward? If not, maybe the seat has been moved (forced/jostled) back beyond the limit switch, which prevents the motor from operating. You may want to have some force the seat forward from behind (in the rear seat) to see if you can't be moved a tiny bit forward within the limits of the limit switch. Worth a try...

I don't think he was referring to the GS as a beater. I interpreted that he has another "beater" which his wife is driving - though not sure what the relevance is

To OP's question, maybe worthwhile to check the fuse for the seat adjustment. Maybe fuse blew while you were adjusting while putting some weight against it causing extra current drawn through the motors.

Did you try pressing the memory seat button?

That would eliminate the possibility of a bad switch, I would think.

I just had similar problem (2006 Lexus IS250) - I reclined the passenger seat (to make room for bulky item), then the seat would not go back up. Other buttons worked, just not the recline,. Finally, while pressing the recline button I gave the seat a few hard WACKS on the side of the seat, and the seat began to operate / go back up. I presume a dirty faulty contact somewhere. Whatever. It's working OK again.

This happened to me before.
I think there is a position when set just right manually they get stuck.
Thought something was caught in the track but was not the case.

To get out of this, use one of your seat presets and it will go back to functioning as normal.

Had to use this a couple of times on the driver side.
