Default 'Tis the season for new wheels

At the end of last year, the tread on the stock tires was down to 3/32 and I needed winter tires anyways, so I put on some Pirelli Winter Sottozero II's and got rid of my tires. Around March of this year, I decided on what wheels/tires I wanted and put in the order. Huge shout out to Paul at PK Auto for the great service and suggestions on the wheels. The tires I got from Sullivan Tire here in MA, they did a great job with them and quickly dealt with having to run to the dealership to get a set of TPMS sensors because the ones they ordered aren't compatible with the car.

Here's my setup:
BC Forged HCS02S, Gloss Black Rim, Satin Black Center, Stainless Steel Hardware
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
19x9.5 +42 275/30
19x10.5 +50 305/30

Shipped in from Taiwan where they build them, packaging was great

They came in pristine condition, no finger prints, oils, etc just a little dust from the packaging which is unavoidable.
Cleaned them up, put a fresh coat of wheel wax on and they were ready for tires.

Stock Winter vs Beefy Summer

We had a really late winter in the northeast and roads were pretty bad. I had the tires mounted and balanced at the start of April and waited until mid April to put them on.

With new wheels our cars qualify as "green" parking right?

Because the center of these wheels is smaller, I noticed a little rust from the rotors even with the wheels on, so I took off the wheels, sanded and painted the rotor hats.

And here's a picture from a few days ago. I decided to take my car to a shop for a chrome delete on the doors. The shop didn't want to let me have my car back

Wow. That chrome delete made all the difference.

But at 19x10.5 +50. Isn’t that less flush/aggressive than stock setup?

Probably necessary to accommodate 305’s, else any more offset, tires would poke.

Yep... they are a little conservative so I could use spacers, but I’m happy with the look.

Car looks good but I can't figure out why would anybody get a set up less aggressive than stock. And with wider tires, you would start running in the inside.

‘Less aggressive’ is the last thing i think about looking at his set-up...seems to be more function over form.
