Default water pump for AWD v RWD?

hi again guys. so i found a quality water pump , but the listing says for Manual trans, then another for RWD AUTO , but not one for AUTO AWD.

ive contacted support and was told if thats what it says, thats what it says.

is the waterpump on an AWD a different fitment than the RWD? . i guess i can understand it may be different with a manual trans, but AWD v RWD? could someone who knows tell me please!

The engine is the same between AWD and RWD so it's interchangeable

I just did this last month using an Aisin aftermarket (same as OEM with Toyota shaved) water pump. I paid around $94 with shipping from Rock Auto but then saw the OEM Toyota on eBay 2 weeks later for the around $92. I should have bought Aisin from Amazon for the same price plus tax with Prime and free return. Anyway...its back up to ~$140 to $160 right now for OEM Toyota on eBay. Prices for these item seem to fluctuate on eBay all the time. I bought OEM hose and Tstat on eBay and the price for Tstat dropped over $10 to $23 while my order was in shipping...the seller refunded the difference.

See links below for the parts you need. Mostly all OEM.

Only one I recommend aftermarket is the Bando or Mitsobushi belt. These go for $13 all day but OEM is $60 for same thing.

OEM Water Pump (was ~$92 in April 2018 but back up to $160)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/FACTORY-OEM-TOYOTA-LEXUS-IS-GS-RC-NEW-ENGINE-WATER-PUMP-16100

OEM Lower Hose (~$30, 2018)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/FACTORY-OEM-LEXUS-06-12-IS250-IS350-NEW-LOWER-RADIATOR-HOSE

OEM Upper Hose (~$20, 2018, don't make my mistake with aftermarket which requires cutting to length)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/FACTORY-OEM-LEXUS-06-12-IS250-IS350-NEW-UPPER-RADIATOR-HOSE

Bando Belt (~$13, definately do aftermarket if its Bando or Mitsobushi, which are OEM suppliers. OEM belt is $60))
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Serpentine-Belt-Rib-Ace-Precision-Engineered-V-Ribbed-Belt-BANDO-7PK1550

OEM Thermostat ($25, 2018)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/FACTORY-OEM-TOYOTA-LEXUS-WATER-INLET-SUB-ASSY-WITH-THERMOSTAT-16031-31020

OEM Toyota Extra Long Life Coolant (~$47 for two pack, 2018...you can get this locally at dealer, have them price match eBay, most will do it)

my man thanks!! what about the tensioner pulley and idle pulley? should do those as well? on rock auto they list as going to only the RWD or Manual, not AWD Auto...arnt they the same wether manual or not? doesnt make any sense.
wow your car is sweet.

Unless the pulleys are making noise or don't spin freely (catching) when turned by hand, no need to replace them.

agreed. Plus if they go bad it’s easy to reach to replace.

I probably could have have gone without replacing belt or the hoses but for the price, had to do it while I was in there. If any of that failed before next pump replacement, I would have been more mad about spending another $50 on radiator fluid to change.

thanks alot guys. i just wanted to have them on hand if i pull them an they are loose. see, i had an accident and the whole front of the car is off. i figured id be plain stupid to not do this now. the hoses look pretty solid, so im not going to replace them. cant thank you enough for your time. but i do have one more question. on the belts, i have to admit im weary of buying that 13 dollar belt. your saying this company charging 13 is the same company making the OEM ones?

Yes. Bando and Mitsuboshi make all the OEM belts for Toyota. This belt is cheap because almost all the Toyota V6 engines use the same belt. I can almost guarantee that the OEM belt from Toyota that goes for $50 will be one of those to brands and probably the same reboxed belt.

99367-C1550 was the OEM part number. It has since been replaced by 99367-K1550. I remember paying $36 about 8 months ago for the Lexus part on Amazon from LPW Parts. There's a listing on Amazon for the Toyota belt (under the 99367-C1550 part number) that costs $40 and it will fit the IS250/350, while the Lexus belt (with the same C/K part #) is about $60 now for some reason. I imagine the prices went up once C was replaced with K, which probably coincides around the time I bought the C part.

If the Toyota part somehow doesn't fit, which I know it should, it's shipped/sold from Amazon so it's an easy return.

You the real MVP.. Water pump in my '07 IS350 started making noise too.. The prices on eBay beat my hookup at the dealer by a lot so ordered it from your list! The only thing the dealer had cheaper was the water pump by like 15 bucks. Thank you!
