Default New Lexus F Sport Wheels selling for $70!?

I came across this find a couple nights ago while searching for replacement wheels for my 2007 IS350.

F SPORT 18-IN P5 FIVE-SPOKE ALLOY WHEELS priced for around $70 at a few different online retailers.

There are 2 different sizes. 18x8 and 18x8.5. Offsets are 40 and 45 mm. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3 mm. Bore size is 60.1mm.

Part numbers are PTR5953130 and PTR5953131.

Seems like a great deal to me. I bought a staggered set to replace my corroded OEM set. Going to fit them with some Firehawk Indy 500's.

I hope this helps someone else out in the market for some new wheels.

Actually, they are. Just not very popular F Sport Wheels. Dealer has them listed as a $2500 upgrade. They're shown in the 2015 IS series brochure.

Thanks for the info. Def prefer the other F sport wheel variants for sure. I mean if they are that cheap it's a steal

Yeah...wasn't my first choice, but it's starting to grow on me. I'll post pics once I get them installed.

Much better than my current pimple faced summer wheels.

Most likely Lexus has discontinued the item and they're clearing them out. I've picked up OE alloy wheels for as little as $30 each before when this happens. Can be a good deal.

I don't like these wheels, but it's still a good deal, haha.

Here's a description about these wheels:

"The newest addition to the F SPORT Performance Wheel line up for Lexus is the 18-in x 8/8.5-in PROP-5 Wheel. Its bold directional design allows for maximum cooling of the brake system to maintain the vehicle's excellent braking performance. The wheel's unique 5-spoke design requires less cast alloy, making the overall weight of the wheel almost one pound per wheel lighter than the OEM 18-in IS wheels, for a total weight savings of approximately four pounds. Un-sprung weight savings typically contributes to slight improvements in acceleration and braking. Compared to the 18-in OEM wheels, the offset of each wheel is changed by 5mm per side for a track width improvement of 10mm, enhancing cornering performance and overall handling. It's engineered to use OEM specification tires for an economical but true performance enhancing upgrade. The silver PROP-5 wheel is coated with a Lexus specification wheel paint to ensure there's no degradation from corrosion or other weather and environmental elements. In addition, it's been subjected to rigorous corrosion, impact, strength and durability testing to ensure peace of mind throughout the entire ownership of the vehicle. Each wheel comes complete with an F SPORT logo center cap and most importantly, the wheels are fully compatible with the Lexus TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and engineered and tested to work in harmony with all of the chassis safety systems of the vehicle."

. . . How did you do that to your wheels?? I'm the third owner of my car and mine are pretty much spotless
That's how they looked when I bought the car 19 months ago. I'm guessing the harsh Minnesota winters and brake dust caused it. Tires are leaking around the beads too. I was going to restore the wheels myself, but decided to buy new instead. It's kinda hard to find matching staggered rims without breaking the bank. These will be a nice upgrade!

These are a deal, better looking than the oem 2is wheels. If I didn’t get gspiders last wheel I would of got these. My g spiders are being powder coated currently. These would of saved me some money.

thanks for sharing man!

Yeah, those are nice wheels!! I was planning them when I was thinking of getting a new 3rd gen car new before I bought my IS-C. Sure would be a joy to clean them of their brake dust
