Rattling from B pillar and door handle
I have a rattle I hear when I am driving along a slightly bumpy road or when I listen to music. The base affects the rattling in the chrome driver side door handle. I feel like I don't hear it from any other door handle but just mine.
Driving I hear the clicking / rattle in the B pillar. Both noises are slight. The dealership drove my car and confirmed that there were small noises and they tried padding it but it's still there. How should I go about this situation? Car still has 21K miles and I think my dealership hates me because I complain about rattles. What should I do?

Sometimes I have a rattle in that general area which goes away if I roll the window down and back up again. I asked the service guys about this, and they said that's what they have been telling people to do, lol. Not sure if that is relevant to you.

i went to the service dept too and they gave me a long strip of felt with tape at the back end. they put it in the middle portion of my window and it solved the problem. but after 3 years with minimal rain and etc, it makes a little squeaking noise as the windows goes up and down from the tint. i just replaced it and its fine again. other than that i havent heard any other noise.

I would pull the door panel myself and inspect/modify/pad if necessary. super easy to do. and fun.

The rattling is where the seatbelt adjustment is and the actual chrome door handle in the drivers side.. No other handles and rattles are heard throughout the vehicle.

The upper b pillar garnish is prone to rattles in many vehicles. The times we have this issue it’s related to the the felt on the adjuster gone missing, either from installation or from supplier. The second is there is a spring that retains tension on the adjustment button goes missing, the button will still appear to have the spring but that’s from the mechanical adjuster that it sets on, the garnish has one as well. The third is the felt along the sliding portion of the garnish, the whole part that slides up and down, has its felt missing. The last thing it can be it the actual mechanical adjuster, behind the garnish, that the seatbelt is attached to has worn, it has some plastic bits to it, some grease along the sliding portion will help that out. Hope this helps, it takes a bit of investigation and trial and error to find and resolve. The door handle is likely an over extension issue, which it actually has to be replaced to resolve, the retention of the plastic is gone, usually caused by too hard of a pull and or the flicking (grabbing, pulling it out, and letting it go) of the handle. A little diy remedy can fix it, just again, trial and error.
