NOVEL Wide Body RC F Races at Nürburgring VLN Endurance Championship
NOVEL will take part in the 2018 Nürburgring 24h VLN Endurance Championship Race in their Lexus RC F and Lexus IS F. This will be the third time they have participated in this 24 hours race since 2016, and they are bringing five brave Japanese drivers and two German drivers to master the Nürburgring. They have just arrived in Germany and here is a first look at the NOVEL Racing Wide Body RC F that will be competing. We'll update the thread as we get more coverage of the event from our friends at NOVEL Racing Japan.
Am sure it's going to be pricey. But Novel is the real deal, you'd be getting a CAD designed wind simulated optimized kit. No hyperbole stuff here. When Novel puts out a product you know its for performance and not just for looks. Surprised they don't have the race car rear diffuser for the RCF Nurburgring. Perhaps they will install it before the race.
They haven't mentioned releasing it yet, but we will ask them. It may just be a single one off kit for the purposes of being the best at Aerodynamics ahaha.
The barrel clears, just depends on spoke design and center pad spacing plus offset of course.
A while back I was pricing track rims and was talking to BC and they said they could make 18” rims clear our front brakes.
I didn’t think any rims could until that point.
