Finally got an ISF!
So some of you may remember me about asking questions regards to buying an ISF or an e92 m3. Well I'm glad to say that I finally have picked up my dream car after 10 years (since 08 was the first year and I was entering high school back then lol). 2008 starfire pearl F with some mods already done to her ppe headers without cats, joe z pts exhaust, rr racing titanium intake, rr racing oil catch can, rr tune, rr 2 piece rotors and usrs bushings. It has over 140k miles on it but runs amazing for the amount of miles over the years. What really sold me on it was that the previous 3 owners had serviced it at a local Lexus dealer near me. Interior and exterior i'd say would be 9/10 condition overall. I did still keep my 07 is250 awd as a daily to get around the winter and drive to work. Also to sum up the few days of ownership, the F had got a lot of attention from a lot of people staring at it haha. Had a few people pull up next to me and give me a thumbs up out of nowhere. Already had a few F30 335i drivers try to race while cruising but then again what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico lol. Really am happy to have this bad boy in my life and will take good care of it.

I remember your post here on CL and M3post, I have BMW as well and remember your post there as well.
Welcome, since the car seems to have significant Mods and the right ones at that, I would look into changing the differential gear oil as well as the transmission oil, spark plugs, etc.

That's up to you if they're running properly no need to change them out. If the car has a complete service history that's great I'd also swap out engine oil and Go full synthetic such Mobil One, Redline or Amsoil. Dont forget to check air filter as well as in cabin filter. With 140K miles on it I would also clean MAF sensor, I like CRC MAF sensor cleaner but any quality MAF sensor cleaner will do . Check your coolant level make sure it's properly filled, brake pads and rotors. Do thorough maintenance check.

Congrats on the pickup, looks pretty clean in white...These beauty's have been known to eclipse the 300k mark with minimal maintenance beyond the standard stuff.

Thanks for the welcoming everyone! Yes it may have 140k miles but runs and drives like brand new lol. Definitely is worth every penny. Not my first 100k mile Lexus. Had 2 IS300's with 100k+ miles on them and they drove pretty solid. This one runs even better. Never thought I would ever own a white ISF in my life lol. Was open to any color but smoky granite mica since my is250 happens to be that color and didn't want it to remind me of it haha. Maintenance is the #1 key to have any car run long. There was a guy who was local to me that sold his 08 ISF with 300k miles all stock exactly this color combo for a good price and it's still being driven as we speak. Lexus = phenomenal quality car brand.
