Default Driver Door Belt Strip Replacement

Can someone shed some light on the Driver Door Belt, I need to replace mine! Question, on the Belt replacement, does the replacement include both sides of the Weathersrip? Meaning, when the window goes up, my inner piece of rubber that leans toward has peeled back about 3 inches! The outer rubber is ok, Just making sure the main part includes both sides of rubber, or is that a separate piece?

Thanks!!
Bob

Unfortunately the piece you are referring to is part of the door interior door panel and not the door belt.
The door belt consists of the chrome trim and black rubber weatherstrip.
I believe the interior seal is a component that cannot be ordered separately.
If the seal is really bad, you can probably find a used panel on eBay.

Moerbeck is correct and deserves the credit. The part, called an “inner belt” weatherstrip is replaceable. The part number above fits my 02 driver’s door. So make sure you find the correct one for your needs.

Ok, I spent the good part of the Day trying to glue the interior strip, what a pain in the A** I tried

3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive Black Did not work, followed directions!

I cleaned that mess up, finally I used super glue and a Accelerator, especially made forr super glue's--- so once you put the glue on the molding, place it proper angel, hit with the accelerator, THAT Worked!

So it looks good for now! However, maybe replace it with a new one! Please send part # MOWERBECK!

Thanks!

Here's the video:

I found used weather strip front and back, driver and passenger,
on ebay for cheap. Have yet to install. They look far better than
what i have, almost like new. Will first spray with ArmorAll Tire Foam,
original version, that is not ultra shiny like the AA Extreme Tire Foam.
Have heard this low gloss Tire Foam is best for all rubber, so not just
tires. Under $4 on Amazon. One guy's video showed him first cleaning
his engine, not with the car wash spray wand, which is iffy, but by hand with
cloth and cleaner, then just simply spraying the Tire Foam all over and
leaving it to really shine everything up. No need to take it off. Spray and
forget.

Default Inner belt weather strip

I've watched a YouTube vid that shows how to replace the 'outer belt moulding'. It doesn't require removal of the inner door panel - does the install of the 'inner belt' require the removal of the door panel ???

Thanks, BIGSTIX

I replaced both the inner belt trims about a year ago and it does require removal of the door panels. In addition to that, you need to bend up all the metal prongs that are holding it on to the door panel and drill out a number of rivets to remove the old ones. Looking at the new parts gives you some clues also.
