How do you know it's not OEM? Headlights can fade over time regardless of who made them. This happens more frequently to cars that are not garage kept/are in climates where it's sunny year round. Mine are yellowing and I know they're the originals, it's been outside most of its life and it's usually sunny here in Louisiana.

eBay/junkyard is your best bet if you just want to replace it. There are alternatives like a headlight restoration (some places will spray a UV clear coat after refinishing to slow down future yellowing) that are offered by places like Sams Club, local detailing places, or even your Lexus dealer can do it.

My OEM H/Ls have been garaged all their life except for 8-10 hrs a day in the last few years at work under trees or at long term airport parking. I've kept up with the outside by waxing and running a polishing buffer to prevent oxidation. The thing I have noticed is the lens itself has started yellowing/darkening from inside and there are lots of minute cracks on the inside of the lens. These are for sure inside since they can't be buffed.

yeah, mine are also oxidizing where they are turning yellow and also have the minute cracks inside the headlight. That’s why I’m trying to find a new headlight I can replace it with

Depending on your year and if you have stock HID, there is a thread on DEPO 2011+ DRL headlights that I've posted all my findings. There are options between $150 to $2k for new lights, its up to you on if you really need OEM or will settle for an aftermarket OE replacement for a fraction of the price.

Well my friend buys non Hid headlamps and bakes them in the oven to remove the lens, and swap lens on his HID ones.

Just a different method. I have personally opened my headlamps Non Factory HID and installed HID systems and Halos in my lights. Then close them up, by baking them resealing the lens back on. It's not that hard...

I have a noob question. I understand most of these aftermarket headlights will be for the non hid. Is it not possible to get an aftermarket HID kit with this?

Read the thread...there are HID options if you want to spend twice the money. Else you will have to do some mods.
