There is a government site for recall info. It was posted in a thread a while back.

Here's one source of TSBs. There could be better ones.

You can plug your VIN in here and get a list of recalls/TSBs - https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchSafetyIssues

Cool - Thanks!
But how do I print out / look at the TSB?

Three possible ways, ordered by increasing cost:

(1) Search the web and hope someone has posted the TSIB somewhere (plenty of those posted on here, for starters)
(2) Sign up to techinfo.toyota.com: two days for $15. TSIBs and PLENTY of great stuff.
(3) Sign up to Alldata. I do not know the cost but suspect it is more than Toyota's site.

Ohh...

You'd think this info would be free and easy to access!
I guess that would make LEXUS service life a little more difficult...customers, with TSB's in hand...demanding things done.

Many Thanks!

Love it! No regrets at all that we got it over the Q7; I only wished we had purchased more recently (from a $ standpoint)

The Cab interior caught my eye the first time I saw it in an IS loaner. It is quite sharp!

And I am now driving it for as long as the winter roads remain nasty!

Safety recalls in the USA are administered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and are accessible through: www.safercar.gov

Recall associated documents are available here. It's a great source of recall details. If you have questions about a recall, check it out, you'll be glad you did.
