Do all sc430's have DaytimeRunningLights? If not, what year-if any- did they start in?

They can also be turned on or off by the dealer, or with techstream.

You can also add one, after you turned off the factory DRLs

GmanSC - like the look, can you tell me what after market lights to bought? I have tried a few different ones and each time they go bad because water has gotten into the housing of the LED lights.
Thanks

They are called COB- They have no housing so no water could get into. They are so bright, much brighter than the foglights, so you can use them as one.
Mandy and I have the same lights. You can search this forum under “ my new drls installed”. All the infos are in there. Mandy can provide the link.

I installed these COB DRLs 3.5 years ago and they still work great and look the same to this day.

Default Forgive my ignorance

but why would you install these lights when all you have to do is turn them on with techstream(from what i understand) ? As well one of you say they are too bright for night travel, so what is the point other than to trick it out?
Thanks.

Simple. The OEM DRLs are yellow and ugly. Intalling the COB give the SC modern looks. I love the brightness, for safety reason, either driving at night or in the daylight.

Love these, except can not install mine like this way since I have an older SC. No perfect location like yours, mine ended up in the grill.
