Always thought the carbon front was ugly. Just my opinion though. Ruins the car lines to me and makes it look frankensteinish.

Some cars & colors work with an exposed CF hood (Hellcat Challenger etc), but I agree, it just doesn't work on the RCF.

Minus the hood. I'm pretty sure we got the the performance package is the carbon edition We have cf trim on the inside. European brands got some silver trim.

Cf edition is only 22 lbs lighter than standard version according to the article.

I like the contrast the carbon makes against the white, I guess it depends on the color. Also, with carbon front, sides, and rear splitters, it just really sets it off.

I have the white and would never do this. It's all personal preference in the end though. To me, it makes it look less luxurious.

Probably b/c 22lbs is the difference between the stock hood and the CF.

This...it is all about preference and what you like.

For one point, the full CF hood did bug me with the overlap on the sides that broke up the flow of the white so I fixed that myself and think it looks better:

Hmmm. The sheer amount of carbon fiber on those two RC F's pretty much scream to other high performance vehicles: "Come get me!" Kind of like throwing fish chum into a pool of sharks. Having recently sold my C6 MT Grand Sport (weight reduced and power increased 28%) I'm aware that there a great many performance cars (and sleepers) that will smoke the RC F, and I'm ok with that because I love the RC F for what it is and accept it for what it isn't. Yep, I have the carbon package. Yep, I'll add a bit more carbon (diffuser) to my F. And yep, I'll play along with other cars that want to play go-fast once in a while, but at no time will I be under the illusion that the RC F is the alpha car lurking the local streets.
