Default LED vs HID Replacement Bulbs

I have a 2005 GX 470 and want to upgrade the headlights to either LED or HID for better night vision.
Wondering what worked best for you?

Ill add for LED, I only have low beams (fitment with the fan may be an issue on driver side high beam) and I love them, quick, easy, and fast install.

What LED high beams did you get? My low beam LED has a significantly bigger fan than that (I did buy a cheap pair on clearance so both were only $25 bucks)

Thanks

Amazon is where I got both my Highs and Lows. I bought the cheapest Highs with good reviews. I just don’t use high beams as much as my Lows, so my Lows is where I spent my money.

Read the specs, if they are not IP67 or something like that, avoid them for headlights. I’ve had zero issues with mine.

I’ve had a cheapo set of Kensun 4500k HID’s in my truck for nearly 3.5 years. Not a single issue.

Thanks very much for all of the feedback. It looks like the LED lights win.

A nice set of HID's from Xenondepot is what you want---the HID's are FAR better than LED's, the light pattern sucks in the projector housings (I have tried several, crap lighting) the HID's will give you the nice pattern you are looking for and provide a nice cutoff line as well, I have been running HID's in my Lows and Fogs and its a super combo of light onto the road, and they have been super reliable for years!
