New Set of Tourmaline Wheels Today
Picked up our second after regretting selling our first SC430 from California with only 23,500 miles. Our first SC had the pie plate wheels and was ok. This car had same wheels but with star caps. We searched for replacement wheels both factory and aftermarket but always came back to the factory Lexus Tourmalines. Tried some remanufactured Tourmalines but received wheels with 3 different colors of silver. Surprisingly located 4 new Tourmalines at our local Lexus dealer and decided to pay the price $$$. No regrets with the high priced wheels as I believe these are the best looking wheels on the SC.

Love them Tourmalines. Bit hard to clean though.

Agree...oem quality is hard to beat...I went with the g-spyders...ran across a good deal when I was looking..Tourmalines were more expensive.
To my eyes a wheel upgrade makes these cars look sooo much better. Your car looks awesome!

I went the G-Spider route to replace the original "pie plates" on my 2002 silver SC. I think both the G-Spiders and the Tourmalines look great on the SC, and it's nice that they are OEM Lexus wheels at a decent price. I paid around $900 for the set new from Lexus Parts World back in 2014-15.
When I traded my 2002 SC for a 2006 SC, I debated on moving the G-spiders to the new car, but decided I actually kind of liked the OEM wheels that came with my '06. They were the standard '06-10 wheels that had been chromed, with a matte finished insert that worked well with my car's color (Chardonnay Pearl). I ended up selling the G-spiders to a local guy for like $600 (a steal for him). Here's how my car looks with the OEM wheels...

Thanks JDave! I've never really been a fan of that particular style (and I've never been big on chrome wheels), but I do think it works well with color scheme. Just the right amount of flash plus color coordination...

Yes, we did consider the G- Spyders and they were $500 cheaper. She decided that she liked the Tourmalines better because of the machined finish shine.

I wonder how strong these various wheels are? Are the oem rims run against some kind of DOT testing?
