Default WTB proper direct fit strutbar for stock SC300

Tried the Megan example off of Ebay and it hit the black plastic infront of the intake manifold. Can you one shoot me a link or even better a PM with what I need? Looking to buy a used or new one.

I've heard that the Cusco and Carbing bars work. I've seen picts of the Cusco on 2JZ-GE motors lots of times. However, when I test fit one on my 1997, I ran into a similar issues as you. It would hit a plastic piece on the front facing side of the throttlebody. I think the Cusco bar will clear the OBD1 throttlebody but won't clear the OBD2 one that I have because of this. Someone told me once "just take the plastic piece off" but by then I had moved on to doing other things.

If you're on facebook, this would be a good question to post in one of the SC groups

The TRD bar for the Supra is a direct fit and the best looking imo. I had one on my car with a 1.5J single turbo setup. No rubbing and cleared the turbo and intake.

How hard is it to find a TRD strut bar these days?

they are around but they don’t fit the GE. The NA engine have a tall intake manifold which is the problem here. The NA examples don’t clear the 96+ (maybe 95 )OB2 engines either

I thought that might be the case. I was planning to go with a GTE swap next year or a good NA-T setup.
