2007 LS460 High milage
hHi, I am considering purchasing a 2007 LS460 fully loaded for $12,K+. Ithas 146K+ miles. Two reported accidents but otherwise good Carfax report 3 prior owners. Is this a good deal or are there problems in the future? Thank you!

Can you scrounge up a few grand more? I got a 2008 with 90k miles no accidents fully loaded, comfort plus package for $16K from a dealership in May 2017.
What every you end up with expect about a $1,000 extra to straighten it out. A lot less if you can do work yourself

I just think you could probably do better price wise considering it's been in two accidents.
For instance my car has had three owners, I have 163,000 miles and it was in one accident when it was almost new (small). And if I tried to sell it now I'd be lucky to get anything over $9,000 for it. Accidents that show up on the carfax report have killed the value of the car - and that's a shame because it hasn't effected it in any other way - but I tried to sell it two years ago when it had 115,000 miles and the best offer I received was $12,000. The accident on the carfax killed the value, I'd stay away from any car that has had an accident on a carfax report because of this in the future, because at least in my area it makes it almost impossible to get good value in resale.

Of course like others, I personally would avoid a car that has been in a accident. You will never really know how bad the accident was and what damage happened, as did they use official Lexus parts or cheap knock offs ?
