Default Mirrortap into 2017 IS 300 for radar detector

I want to connect my radar detector to the power in the rear view mirror. I have seen people post pictures of their wiring harness showing which color wire is the power ignition and ground. All seem slightly different than mine. Does anyone know the setup for my car? Its a 2017 is 300. The available color wires are white, light green, blue, and 2 pinks.

Any help would be great.

I went in the back side of the connection, where your white connection plugs into, you can see where my taps went in. My detector only comes on with the accessory/car this way. Hope this helps you out.

Default Mine

My 2 pinks appear to be the same exact color with the rest looking identical to yours?

I try to install the mirror tap i had laying around for the longest, Open up the cover and notice the white harness is a bit different then yours. My blue wire is first then purple. So i try both way power&ground and switched it up, but nothing works. what gives? I try to push the prongs down as much as it can go.

Just a wild guess, but are your taps making contact with the metal pins in the plug?

To clarify, depending on the specific year of 3IS you have, the color of the Ignition and Ground wires may be different .
However, no matter the color of wire in the position of the connector, the Ignition wire is still the Ignition wire, and the Ground wire is still the Ground wire.
The Ignition wire can be either Pink, Purple, or Blue depending on the year.
The Ground wire can be Purple or Blue, depending on the year.

It's not specific to the model of IS...it would be the same for a 250/300/200t/350 of the same year.
I can't remember exactly what year, but for sure it's not a 2017 or 2016...it's either a '14 or '15.
Regardless of the color, pin 1 is the Ignition and pin 2 is the Ground...that did not change over the years and models of 3IS.

Default My setup

Of the 2 pink wires I had...I tried the one closer to the blue...and I guess it would be position 1...that Ended up being the ignition power. The blue wire (position 2) was the ground.
How it looks mounted in my 2017 is 300

So my power ignition was the pink wire and ground was blue.

This might be a silly question.. but when you say tap into one of the wires, do you mean shove the pin into the slot that the wire is in, with the wire. Or how would you push the pin into the spot the wire is in, without damaging the wire? Sorry if this is dumb. Thank you in advance😄
