ABS Code 41-2nd Gen
I wanted to see if anyone has run into this. My 97 Coach LS has a weird ABS issue.
Symptom: As you slow to a stop and are almost completely stopped you feel the ABS on the brake pedal pulse about 3-5 times. It is consistent every time. I notice that during the pulse, the steering wheel will slightly move counterclockwise, as if the ABS may have released the right front wheel, which creates a little more stopping resistance on the left wheel which makes the wheel turn slightly, and I mean very slightly....hardly noticeable. The ABS light on the dash is NOT on.
So I took it to the local Firestone, where my buddy works. They say the ABS code reads a 41.....Battery voltage too low or high (under 9.5 volts or over 16.2 volts). Check battery and charging system.
Change batteries, no difference, and have not checked the charging system, but have no other issues.
Any one have any ideas on where to start?

Condition of wheel bearing (s)?
Any necessary brake work recently?
If brakes serviced, did service tech properly bleed the lines and ani-lock brake solenoid actuator block? (Various postings on topic-special service tool required)

Thank you Yodaone. I read your grounding article, and I think that is where I will start. I think I will replace the battery ground cable and use proper bolt. Then also ck alternator. No recent brake job when the symptom arose.
