I'm hearing alot about this Joe z intake and I can't seem to find one anywhere- is it worth the mod? Where can I get one?

Congrats! About the intake tho, I think you would have to buy it used since it's been a couple of years now I think. You would be lucky to find a new one.
However, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about that!

Joe Z no longer makes the intake. Last year I waited like 3 months after placing an order on Carson Toyota. Just gave up and bought myself a shiny new F Sport one Sure it cost more but I still love it

Speaking of the F sport intake... I did the airbox mod and it was the most amazing mod I have done so far hahaha, highly recommend it rather than buying the air box.
as for the F sport intake pipe it's quite expensive on ebay... I can't justify paying over $300nzd for a metal tube...

If you get the OEM F sport sound generator intake. It's the best IMO. 1 it's plastic and it stays probably cooler to the touch. It's about a 3" id pipe too. Fitment is OEM.
2. You get the nice rumble without having to gut out the lower airbox portion. Also it's still pulling cold air from the snorkel.
I've had the Joe z before and it quieted my intake noise. The throttle response was good, but I missed the rumble from the oem intake. As for having both Joe Z & The OEM F Sport sound generator. The butt dyno in throttle was the same for both units.

I just checked your profile. You have a GS350 F Sport. Most likely you have the Sound Generator Intake already. In my opinion that's the best intake. I have it on my car and it's OEM. I've also had the Joe Z intake too. Your really not going to really gain anything from what you have. The GS350 intake is already a 3" pipe too.
