Default turbo kits

hi, i am getting a 2002 lexus is300 NA 2jz-ge and i wanna go ahead and do a turbo on it, my goals are 400whp to 500whp and was wondering if there is any turbo kits that you would recommend.

You should get an ISF and an RRRacing supercharger

eventually one day i will, for now i am gonna start this project. maybe i will get me a new gte engine and get everything done before i put it in the car

Yep, you'll do yourself a favor if you build your own. All the turbo "kits" I saw that used to be used on these cars didn't strike me as high quality and it really made me wonder why people owning Lexus's were afraid to spend money to do things the right way. Maybe the kit has piping in it that is a good starting point but the other stuff that came with it was unimpressive.

400-500whp will be a big project that'll need to include going inside the bottom end of the engine.

The CX Racing "kit" will get you started - just be aware there'll be lots of other things to buy and work out before you'll have a running and driving car.
