Default Wheel Advice Please - Wedsport RN-05M

Hi Guys,

So hoping to pull the trigger on my RR-Racing supercharger kit in the next couple of weeks.

Thinking I may try and beef up my wheels/tyres, so need some advice from the wheel experts out there.

Currently running Wedsport SA67R's in 19 x 9 ET 35 (fronts) and 19 x 10 ET 42 (rears), with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres. Tyre sizes are 245/35/19(front) and 275/30/19(rear).

Seen the soon to be released Wedsport RN-05M's which come in these sizes:

19 x 8 ET 45
19 x 8.5 ET 38
19 x 9.5 ET 28/38/48
19 x 10.5 ET 22/32

Question is can I maybe run the 19 x 9.5 in the front, and the 19 x 10.5 in the rear? If so, which ET do I go for, and what tyre sizes can I run??

I can and will roll my arches if needed to accommodate the larger rims. Guessing the added performance from the blower will warrant bigger contact patches to avoid wheelspin or smoking my tyres all the time!

Any/all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers all!

I have a 19x10.5 +35 rear with 275s and at my ride height and with the figs goodies it fits with some minor rubbing with a roll but I also have to run about 3* of camber. +32 might be tough to fit if you plan to add anything larger than a 275.

Thanks Josh.

What tyre sizes can I run with those? Guessing you had your wheel arches rolled??

Cheers.

Hi Pete,

19x9.5+40 front will work well with up to 275/30 tires, with just minor rolling.
I run 19x10+40 rear with 295s, but that's with 2.5deg negative camber. If you are running less camber, you will need a bit higher offset, like 45.

Thanks Rafi.

Wondering about a square setup??

Also, can I run wider tyres on my existing SA67R's??

Might be cheaper than forking out for a complete new set of rims??

I'd need a reputable shop or person to do my arches, bought a Supra ages ago that had the arches rolled really badly!

Rusted badly as a result.

Can you PM me the demo car's wheel/tyre setup please Rafi? I'll email you as well.

Ta.

Here are my Weds Sports SA15R with 19x9.5+35, and 19x10.5+45. 245/35 275/30. A bit aggressive and had to roll rears when I was about 1/2" lower. The sizes you have available look slightly less so so they could work without rolling. Wheel design is nice! My favorite part is how low weds are.

Guys, thinking of running the squared setup....

Liking the idea of 19 x 9.5 ET 38 (all round), but what tyre sizes can I go with? Would 275/30/19 work?

Appreciate any help you can offer me Chaps.

Many thanks.
