Default Coilovers for 08'

Hey guys! What coilovers do you reccomend for an 08' LS460L? I was thinking BC or Megan... what do you guys think? I was thinking around a 3 inch drop

EDIT: After reading around more I think I'm going to go with the BCracing extreme low, ~200 more than Megan but I think it's worth it. For wheels I was thinking the Work Gnosis HS203, to my knowledge it's been discontinued though so pretty expensive. Do you guys think 20 or 21 would look better? and how much do you guys think it would be for a used set of the hs203 or a new set. thanks!

20's feel too small on an LS and 22's I think are pretty extreme. I currently have 22's and it can be cumbersome for daily driving (I rarely drive my LS.) I'd definitely go with 21's if it was a daily.

My LS on 20’s.

my car on 20’s, 20’s lowered and on 22’s. The 22’s looked cool but the 20’s are custom built forged and weigh less than half as much. Car rides and handles much better on the 20’s. It’s stupid how heavy 22’s are.

How do the 20s feel compared to the OEM 18s? I really don't want to upgrade wheel size if its going to dramatically change the ride.

21s seem like the perfect match for what I'm looking for. Is your rides suspension stock? Or tanabe springs with the 20s

22's are a pain in the *** if you don't live in an area with good roads.

I live in the city and the big heavy 460L has dented and cracked pretty much 4 out of 4 of my forgiatos.

I figured out a really great way to repair the dents myself without taking the tire off or having a shop do it , so that's great.

But two of my rears have hairline cracks and lose a few psi each day, I was living with it for now and Was going to have them repaired in the winter , and then about a week ago my front tire was completely empty, and I had to drive it to the gastation which destroyed the tire (which was already replaced a few months ago and nearly brand new) , and I come to find out the front has a massive crack as well that wont hold air for more then 30 minutes or so before completely deflating.

Really frustrating, my 22's on my 430 were similar but not as bad , but ill still be on 22's next season, its just the way it is I guess.

But I wouldn't knock someone for runn ing a set of 20's with a thicker tire, to have more comfort and protection

The ride on 22's is really rough in this car as well, wasn't nearly as bad on the 430 I think because the susapension was a lot softer in that car.

Tbh I feel like 22s look a little too big, not too fond of it. Do you think 21s won't look as "big" and help stray from the 22s problems with bad roads? What suspension are you on btw?

My car has air suspension and a controller to lower it. Mine is a sport, so it came with 19’s. The 20’s feel the same. We have pretty good roads here and I still had to replace 2 tires due to damage from pot holes when I had 22’s.

Provlem with 21’s is tire choices are very limited.

Yup, 21's are the perfect size on our vehicles but selection is scarce for rubber.

The price for 21’s is significantly more expensive too. 21’s look the best but to daily 20’s are where it’s at.

The way roads got around here last winter the last things I'd be doing is lowering my luxury car and installing short tires. Doing that just makes me scratch my head.
