Valve cover gasket
Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone could give me a couple steps on what’s the easiest way to replace my valve cover gaskets in my 98 ES300! Thanks for the helpful responses !

Thank our Canadian treasure Speedkar9 for this:
I would add these things;
1) The rear plugs are so hard to get to, do all of your plugs at the same time. Use Iridium so they last. The Autolite Iridium is on sale at RA, has a rebate, and there’s no reason to use lesser plugs on cost. I have had them in for about 20k and they work perfectly compared to NGK or Denso from what I can tell.
2) dress and install the gaskets carefully (I like permatex Aviation #3). If you can schedule it, let it sit a night or even longer before re-installing the intake and re-torque them. You will be surprised to find them already loose from the gasket taking a set.
3) Speedkar9 covers the washer trick for the cover bolts. Don’t ignore that or you can crack your cover fairly easily.
