Default Second Front Strut Leaking

So I have a (stock height) 2013 F Sport and at 23K miles, I noticed my front passenger strut was leaking. It was replaced under warranty. Now at 46K miles, I noticed my front drivers side strut was leaking and it was also replaced under CPO warranty.

These are not cheap struts. I hope these don't fail often and I just happen to get an early batch of struts when the car was made. Does anyone know if there was a 'fix' or redesign to the original strut design for replacements?

I just lost a rear shock to leaking at around 64,000 miles. It hasn't thrown a code yet - and I presume it'd say something eventually, as it's AVS - but it's clearly leaking and needs to be replaced along with its axle mate.

Not terribly impressed. The car is bone stock, I don't drive it like I stole it and the previous owner was a lady, so I have to assume it's just bad roads or a combination of a heavy car and tricky suspension.

Unfortunately, at the moment, aftermarket shocks and struts (the front uses coil-over struts, the rear uses separate shocks and springs) do not appear to exist for this car. And I looked extensively.

Replacement for both rear shocks is looking like about three hours of labour. Could be worse.

That's the thing. I do have times of spirited driving. I don't think it is too crazy. The front tires have lasted me 30K miles so far and are still going (I think the previous owner was a thrasher though which is why the tires needed replacing when the car had 18K miles).

I had an 2006 Acura TL and it never needed new shocks or struts in the 140K miles I drove it. So I am a bit disappointed in the longevity of the struts so far in the Lexus.

that is a little disappointing for a car with MSRP new 58K this isn't the first post I've seen regarding this issue. I have a 2016 with 12K CPO maybe I should check the struts

If it looks like this, then you have a leaking strut.

I had to get a new strut in the first few months of having this GS and it isn't a Fsport. I'm thinking maybe its just a low baller bid to win the business of lexus

This is weird. In addition to a '14 F-Sport I run a '98 GS300 with 185,000 miles. My GS300 is on its original shock-absorbers (struts) with no signs of leaking.

Are Lexus as well made now as they made their reputation on? I hope so.
