Factory brake pads finally worn out, at 335k miles
Yesterday, I replaced my front brake pads (and rotors, they were worn past the ability to machine them) at just about 335,000 miles. Using the regen brakes as much as possible helped a lot. Rear brakes still have a lot of life left.

wow that has to be a world record for CT200H. Can you post pics of the car at that mileage? curious what it looks like. dont forget interior shots!
does it consume any oil?
how does the engine run?

No oil consumption so far. Engine still runs well. There are times, when the engine is running at idle while stopped, when it sounds almost like a diesel. You can definitely hear the age, but it drives pretty much like a new CT (even though I have to admit I haven't driven a new one in a long time).
I'd say closer to 90% now. The least it's been was 75% to 80%.

Yea, I coast and regen brake whenever possible. It sure made a big impact in how long the brakes lasted, and we're talking just the front brakes.

Is there a specific trick to get the car into regen brake mode? Do you put it in [B] mode every time to brake? Or is it simply just light braking. I never really understood it.

You just use the brake pedal lightly and watch the "Charge" gauge. Don't press the brake pedal any harder once you reach the end of the gauge. Eventually you'll start to learn the difference by feel alone.
B mode doesn't regen at all, it's engine braking. It doesn't use up fuel but it will reduce your MPG over regen braking. Use the engine brake only when going down steep grades where regen braking can't slow you down enough by itself.

I would have figured that suspension wears out with more km's, or more bumpy roads at least. But if you're doing all highway then that's different.
