2013 was a major change and 2016 was a change. I do not think any difference between the 13 and 15. I have a friend that has a 13 and does not having parking sensors and blind spot monitoring but think that was options in 2013. Don't think now could drive a car without bsm. We love out 2015 RX450h. It has the bamboo interior that we think looks great. We average 29 mpg. Neither our fans of the 2016. Great time to buy a hybrid with gas at $2.25 a gallon. You lose bargaining power when it is $4.00 a gallon. We bought two years ago a used certified ES300h and RX450h. The ES was the same price as the gas model 350's on the lot in the same year and the RX was about $1,500 more than the RX350's.

Yep, BSM was an option for early 2013th. I saved my good money by finding one without it. No towing package for me either.

Just very, very minor things. I recall the '15 got the LED fog lights which were only halogen on the '13, and I think the remote touch **** was re contoured.

I paid $3.49 a gallon yesterday.

I have driven with BSM and find it annoying as driving straight in traffic it keeps flashing in my peripheral vision ,,,, it does not save me a look at the mirror when I need to change lanes. Not sure if I can count on peripheral vision and just move over. I must be missing something.

You are not missing anything. Lexus BSM sucks. Mercedes BSM is light years ahead of that of Lexus. The warning comes on too late and goes away too late too. Useless.

Mine ('13h) has saved my bacon at least twice.

BSM? How? You did not look in the mirror or your adjustment was bad? Good majority has the setting wrong. If you can see your vehicle's corner by sitting straight and just turning your neck ... the setting is bad.

After reading the BSM thread on this very forum, I checked and found my mirrors to have been set incorrectly with too little outward coverage.
I readjusted both of my vehicles and saved new settings in the memory. Couldn't be happier.

Well...
...since I'm in the typing mood - I don't have the eyes (read: peripheral vision complicated by eyeglasses and age) I had when in the military, traffic was hecktic going around Atlanta, and some moron decided to swing up on the right without consulting me.

While I'm at the keyboard, here's a 'vent': I personally feel that so-called "fog lights" are but a status symbol at best, and a hazard at worst -- and if drivers could know how they annoy and/or complicate the driving of those of us with macular and/or cataract affected eyes -- making it hard to see through the multi-flares of not four but eight (due to reflection off the eyeglasses), they'd turn off the useless things (or relegate their use to highlighting potholes on snowy Michigan winter roads - where they just might serve a purpose).

End of vent.

I have a 2013 RX450h. When I have gone in for service and have gotten a RX450h as a loaner, I really notice the smaller mirrors and larger blind spots. I am not sure what model(s) of the RX450h or RX350 I have gotten, but I know they are more recent than mine. Also, the maps seem to be a little sharper in the newer models, but I can't conclude too much from that since mine came (new) with 2011 maps, which I did not learn that until much later.

I guess I am used to the BSM. It doesn't bother me, but it has saved me a time or two when a small car sped into a blind spot on the right side.

So you could see the icon lit up in the side mirror and not see the small car in the mirror?

Or

the lit up icon drew your attention?

Probably more of the latter, at least in the most recent incident. In heavy traffic, the icon lighting up probably drew my attention to it.
