Default Insurance- how much are you paying?

How much are you folks paying for insurance? EG, w/full collision, etc. ? Just curious on what the typical annual is for an RCF.
Obviously its going to vary by region, etc...

My insurance agent told me the other day that an RCF would actually be cheaper than something like a WRX, etc, but she'd need a VIN to get a precise
quote. (I guess the "tables" say that people are more likely to crack up WRX... actually kinda makes sense, because out of 3 people I know that have them, two of them
have totaled a WRX... )

I also called my insurance agent to get a quote. I'm currently looking to buy a 2015. I gave her the VIN for a car I'm considering. Came out to about $100 per month with a $100 deductible.

A lot. I just pulled the policy but it doubled from my previous car and is about $119/month. The cost is based on you of course but also heavily on the cost to replace the car. As soon as she got the VIN and saw the sticker price, up it went. Does not matter how sweet of a deal you got on a low mileage 2015.

Profile - married male, 41yrs old, Philadelphia suburbs, blank driving record, multi vehicle policy, top tier credit score.

One thing no one has mentioned is CREDIT SCORE. Your credit score(whatever model they use) will heavily influence your rate more than your age or driving record.

I disagree. I have over 800 credit rating and my insurance is still high, comparably speaking. Accident records dominate your premium

im surprised no one included the AMOUNT of liability coverage for medical and property in case you are at fault. A policy can easily double if you have 250/500/250 vs minimal 10/20/10

I have 300/500/300 liability, 50/100 deductible, rental, 50k medical additional, uninsured/underinsured, tow, rental for $960 every 6 month. If i got the bare minimum full coverage, it would be about $620. But again, I would be sued for everything If i caused an accident and serious injuries since my coverage will run out in a heart beat. So i don't complain paying $52 extra monthly for security and peace of mind

RCF - 89 a month, 81 dollars a month if i pay off the entire year (which i do). 100/150 coverage. only OEM replacement parts.

One other car on my policy , coverage 198 per 6 months , aftermarket oem quality replacement parts only and is full coverage.

age : 30

You can disagree all you want, fact is, they pull your credit report and are looking at your fiscal level of responsibility.

https://www.esurance.com/info/car/my...insurance-rate

That's from the insurance companies directly after a simple google search.

Check out and click on your state. 10 claims is a bit nuts if you ask me. I've had 1 claim in an 8.5 year driving history.

No need. I have full access to insurance internal quotes. Credit does matter, but it definitely doesn't weight as much as driving history/claims

I didn't get credit checked or even asked for my social when i switched to AAA. I went from 580 credit score to 850 in about 5 years and my rates did not changed at all, it actually went up hence the switch.
