Can you guys help me understand the difference between the 2 different GS rear diffusers? I got rear ended last week and the shop will be replacing my bumper cover and rear diffuser and I want to make sure they use the correct one for my f sport. I have a coworker with a 2014 luxury model and I can't see a real difference in the 2 diffusers although they show they should be different part numbers. Mine is a CPO and it appears it has had the bumper touched up previously so I'm wandering if the previous owner replaced the diffuser with a non F Sport part. Pics of each would be awesome.

2013-15 inclusive "original" 4GS F Sport rear diffusers are dark metallic gray to match the charcoal wheels.
2013-15 inclusive "original" 4GS Luxury rear diffusers are black.

Thanks!! So the shape is the same and the only diffence is the color?

That's correct.
I have the Luxury, but I like the F Sport's gray metallic finish more.

The color and finish. F sport is more of a gloss finish while luxury is a matte plastic finish

The luxury model diffuser can be removed, and refinished to match the F sport. Just contact your local bodyshop

Does anyone know the color code for the rear diffuser on the FSport? I am thinking about matching a future front lip with that color.

I liked the metallic graphite/gray of the diffuser I had on my 15 F Sport. The diffuser on my 19 F Sport is gloss black.

They've always said that the two diffusers are different, but being color blind, i never really could tell why.

Recently, I have my 4GS's dark metallic gray rear diffuser painted with a new color (atomic silver metallic, 1J7). The picture is attached in this thread for comparison.

With the refreshed 2016-20 GS Series, the rear diffuser colors were reversed.
Now, the non-F Sport base/luxury rear diffusers were metallic grey, while the F Sport rear diffusers were glossy black.

i think black looks better. Makes the rear end more sharp and compact.
