Default removal of cup holder / box in 2017 F-sport?

Hi. My sister was being an a$$ and slammed her phone in my cup holder and chipped the silver bezel. Doesn't anyone know if the cup console pops out easily. It is not attached to the who center console assembly. Also, what is the part number for this on the 2017? Thanks.

The cupholder stereo/navi controls area can pull straight up and the backwards to come off.
It is just clip into place. No screws holding it in place.

Was able to pop out the console easily and unscrew the actual cup holder. The silver trim piece actually clips on. Maybe it's worth sanding and repainting instead of buying a new piece just for the scratched silver bezel. Maybe a roija red color to match the interior?

It's a small paint chip on the silver piece. I'm completely OCD when it comes to new cars. It has less than 700 miles. I'm very GENTLE with everything. My eye will go to it every time. Luckily it's an easy DIY to remove and you can buy just the cup holder it seems although I'm still looking for the part number on the 2017. I'm really good with spray painting so that's why i'm considering just doing it myself. I think she had a "I'm in my car moment," where she didn't even think twice. Even though we're both from the same seed, she's very laxed when it comes to objects and I have the "notice every detail" and "tries to keep things as good as new" disorders.

At times I wish I were more laxed like her with certain things, but cars are the one thing I'm meticulous about. Go figure!

understandable with a literally brand new car. I was the same way at first, after some time pass, it will go away lol.

I installed 2017 cup holders in my 2014 and bad all the silver trim dipped to look like carbon fiber.

Spray paint was epic fail. Carbon fiber looks great. I can't imagine it being an expensive part. There is a part number printed on the bottom of the cup holder but when I google it there's no results. Maybe too new of a part yet?

Just bring it to a local body shop and have it painted any color you desire for what I imagine would be less than $40

They can fix the chip during sanding paint and remove your failed spray job.

Like SpecONE i see nothing wrong with the part but I understand that you see it and that's what matters.
