Default white cream underneath the car

guys i know how this may sound but i saw some white cream like stuff underneath the car, behind the engine bay area, maybe right underneath where the wrong center console is, it is on the driver side where the exhaust pipe begins? hope this makes sounds. see photo if it helps. i am calling the dealer in a bit when they open but any idea what this is? only mod i did to the car is replaced the factory engine filter with K&N. i think i will put the factory filter back in when i bring it back to the dealer. 16 IS350 AWD non F.

Looks like you ran over a plastic bag and it melted to your exhaust pipe - look at the upper edges and it looks like different colors from the ink it was printed in

thanks guys, had me worried, now that you mentioned it I believe I might have did it and that explained the red and blue color mixed with the white. should i just leave it? or wait for it to cool and then try to reach in and wipe it off?

If you leave it it will smell like burnt plastic for a long time when you get out of the car. Worse if you park in a garage.

This guy sanded it off

I ran over one a few months ago. Once it cooled down I took off whatever I could by hand and let the rest be.

No smells here.

Just thinking out loud here, but couldn't you drive spiritedly for a day or two to let the plastic melt into flakes, then just wipe it off?

if you're careful, you can use a solvent spray to melt it off. or you could also use a torch to careful burn it off all at once.
