For those of you that have installed an aftermarket sub, did you remove the oem sub or leave it on?? When I bump my music loud I get a bit of rattle coming from the rear seat/deck and I can't really pin point the culprit. Did you guys use any type of padding as well??

I have Mark Levinson by the way, not sure if that helps.

I have non-ML with aftermarket subs: 2-10 inch subs in the trunk. No rattling, no padding installed. I do have rattling in the back in the rear seat/deck but it's from the car, not the actual subs. I think on of the panels back there rattles from time to time, doesn't really bother me since the radio downs out the rattling.

I deadened the doors and entire trunk. No rattling from my 15" ported sub

Take it out. I took mines out

You can unplug the wire connecting to the stock sub first to see if that helps before removing it.
