Default New 2014 LX570... Need Suggestions

Just sold my 2015 Mercedes G550 and got a 2014 LX570. Big difference in vehicles, obviously.

I just ordered some larger rims and nitto terra grapplers to put on the vehicle. I would like some other ideas on what to do to the vehicle, please. What is a "must do"? Any and all suggestions are most welcome. Thanks!

Everything people do to an LX (other than tinting) sticks out like a sore thumb and doesn't look right. LX doesn't take kindly to mods or far-out accessories. Don't do anything!

I don't agree. Offroad bumpers, skid plates, a winch, snorkel... All this stuff looks great on LX.

I guess I will be removing my snorkel this weekend, but the cattle bumpers are staying put!

heres my sore thumb, I mean LX

I think the bumper (Dobinson) fits pretty well, a few guys have stuck ARB ones on also. Also have the flat rack and rock warrior wheels with 33" tires. It was put together as our camping vehicle in the summer and a ski vehicle in the winter and surpasses expectations for both.

It's impressive that the Dobinson bumper is about half the price of the ARB, and looks almost exactly the same.

Yeah, the quality is very good for the $. This is $1100 compared to the ARB Sahara which was $1600 or so when I looked back then and I like the full bar vs. just the center hoop the Sahara has.

Slee is charging 2,251 for the ARB with the hoop. I think I will buy the Dobinson bumper.

wow, sorry I was referring to the 08-11 model. hard to understand why there is almost a $1000 difference in 2012+

Yeah by comparison to that the Dobinson is a steal and I believe shipping picked up at a freight location was around $200 to Denver. Your more than welcome to take a look at mine in Denver if your heading to the Breckenridge event this summer if you want to see the quality first hand. I unfortunately wont be able to attend the Breck event
