I'm going to tint my windows tomorrow and the workshop asked me to find out how to remove the door panels.
I've Googled all day to find the repair manual, but no luck.

So now I'm asking you for help
Does anyone have the repair manual in PDF? Pics or guide how to remove the door panels?
Both front and rear.

I don't have anything handy, sorry. However, IMHO, if a shop that does this work day in and day out asked me that question, I would certainly not let them touch my car - any car, never mind an LS.

I pretty much share caha's sentiments. Although I give the shop credit, at least they didn't just try to do it without knowing the procedure. Some idiots would just try and end up ruining the panel.

A good auto body shop will know how to remove it.

Also, I don't see why they would have to remove the door panels to tint the windows.

Google "Lexus LS460 door panel removal". The first 2 hits are YouTube videos that are all you'll need.

If they screw up taking off the panel, you could end up with a lot of issues. I would find a busier shop that would either know how to do it or take the initiative to google it themselves.

Removing the door panels makes for tinting the windows a lot easier since the front glass has Lexus' anti-fog coating and the rears (mine at least) have the motorized sunshade tracks.

I would absolutely not let somebody who doesn't know how to remove the door panels tint my car. Thats an absurd question to ask your customer...

I'm going to remove my panels also so I get take my car back to get tinted. They attempted once and was unable to get the tint to go down back the 2nd seal.

You shouldn't have to remove your own panels??? Find a real tint shop that will do it right and if you can't a Lexus dealership will. You may pay more but its a professional tint job and save yourself some time and frustration.
