Default How long are you waiting for your Sticky/Cracking dash recall?

Greetings,
I just wanted to see how long everyone else who is doing this recall waiting, or been waiting for their sticky, cracking dash recall on their IS250? I was told my parts will come in around TWO YEARS from now. So of course I placed my order, even if I might not own this car still.

How long have you/are you waiting for?

They told me that it might come in sooner but extremely unlikely and they were hoping I placed the order two years ago. How could I have placed an order if my car wouldnt have passed the recall inspection two years ago...

It took roughly a year a couple months when Lexus called and replaced all four doors and dashboard panels.

I asked my dealer and they didn't give me a specific answer. Probably is a very bad sign.

I have been on the list for about 20 months now. They keep telling me I am close but still nothing.

My car will probably be at a Pick-a-Part some place waiting it's turn at the crusher when I get a call asking me to bring it in for the new parts. We shall see.

I waited about 11 months before getting my dash. At first they said it would be a couple months, then a few months later they said it would be a while and they didn't know when it would be but to expect about a year.

After 23 months wait, I had all 4 door panels replaced. I'm at 26 months and counting for a dash.

I think it heavily depends on the market your in. Since each dealership is only getting so many at a time, it's tough sledding in large cities where there are hundreds and hundreds of people waiting.

I've lost count lol...All my door panels are replaced, but the dash was in the worst condition and I'm still waiting on that.

My case, they indicate 1 door panel is available for replacement and they encourage me to come in and they will give me a rental. I did ask about the dashboard and they said that it will take long. My RX has a dashboard recall as well and I asked, she says in 1.5 years at least.

I went today to my local lexus and was told that the current wait time was 2 years! They told me that I couldn't get on the waiting list because the dash and door panels are on back order and apparently they don't know when they are going to resume production. The guy told me to call them weekly to get a status on them.
