i bought a 6ft USB/aux kit from amazon. Then I took out the volume/temp **** control and literally cut it in half (carefully) with a dremel tool. Then i installed the cable into the power/volume hole.

the gloss black is going to look very nice. I have a second set of trim that I'm going to send out to Ocarbon in Arizona based on Dmitry's recommendation. But that won't be for a while so gloss black will work temporarily.

Man, car is looking great Jimmy! The black trim will look a lot better for now, but that carbon will really tie it all together.

Finally had a chance to install my gloss black trim. Here's some pics while I was doing it. Only took me about 65 minutes from start to finish.

Also took a couple pics before pulling into the garage. Here they are.

Well... it's finally done. The exterior and interior are exactly the way I want them. Got the black wood trim installed and blacked out the window trim this week. If you've been following from the beginning, it's been a crazy year. I bought this car in July 2016 to be a daily driver. Then I sold my black 1997 SC300. Then it all started. And it went fairly quickly. But here is the end result. Want to swap in a vvti 2jzgte this winter. Here's the current final result.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you properly restore an SC back to it's brand-new original glory!

The car is looking fantastic Jimmy. If Lexus offered an F-Sport SC300 back in those days, this is how it would look like sitting on the showroom floor!

thank you. It has been a really fun restoration! I said "finally done" but I'm certain there is more to do. I appreciate the kind words.

THANKS!
the inspiration for this build was a 2017 GS-F on the showroom floor! I even took the paint color swatch into the showroom to perfectly match the caliper color lol. Only thing I didn't try and replicate from
that car was the gray seats. I'm happy with how it turned out so far.

thank you Fadi. It was a fun car to restore. There are a few things I would have done differently knowing what I end through but for the most part this build was pretty straight forward. You coming to SC and coffee this morning?

I've been waiting to see full sun pictures of your paint. It looks amazing. Congrats on finishing the first phase of your build!
