Default Reverse lights LED upgrade

UPDATE: I changed the LED to the one RogueRX using
Amazon.com: JDM ASTAR 800 lumens Extremely Bright Error Free 921 912 PX Chipsets LED Bulbs For Backup Reverse Lights, Xenon White: Automotive Amazon.com: JDM ASTAR 800 lumens Extremely Bright Error Free 921 912 PX Chipsets LED Bulbs For Backup Reverse Lights, Xenon White: Automotive
. What a big difference! It's so much brighter!
Also I realized the bulb is at an angle sitting in the housing. So it's not a good idea to use the LED I used with projector lens. With projector lens, the light output will concentrate at an angle, and it won't aim directly 180 degrees.

This is a very simple 10 mins mod. Put the final piece for the full LED exterior lights. Bought these LEDs from amazon

The cooler color of the LEDs looks great with the white paint. Was there any improvement in visibility, are they brighter than stock? Thanks for the great write up and comparison shots!

I just installed them this morning, so i cant tell how much of improvement in visibility yet. However, even in daytime now and it looks brighter than stock. Color temperature is more important to me than visibility tho. Didnt want to get those crazy bright 50w LED. Don't wanna risk that they might burn the socket

The stock bulb is 16w, so i tried to get the LED not to exceed 16w. Also i saw a lot of 921 LEDs are very long. I was afraid it doesnt fit. But once i took out the stock bulb. It has good amount of space to fit a long LED.

The LED i am using doesn't improve too much visibility over stock. however, it's so much brighter than stock when you look at the light. I am very happy with the color and how it looks. Maybe if you guys use a higher wattage or different brand LED will have better visibility.

Hello guys, do you know to to dim or turn off the light that illuminates the floor of the car while it's running?

the light in the foot well area? I don't believe you can unless you pull the bulb completely

Why do people blank out their license plate? It's not like people don't see it when they're driving.

Some people have personalized plate that may offend someone online or to prevent pranks where someone calls the Hwy Patrol amd report a drunk driver as a prank. This prank has really happend to my cousin and he got pulled over. Officer let him go because obviously he was sober 100%

Looks great! I am tempting to get a brighter LED like yours. Mine don't improve visibility at all....

Thank you. I posted the Amazon link to the LED lights above. They are also 16W just like the stock halogen bulbs.
